Rikon

Rikon is a planet that is held within another galaxy far even in space terms from our own Earth. The galaxy that harbors Rikon has not even been glimpsed from the farthest viewing telescopes. It is more then nine hundred trillion light years away from the edges of our own Milky Way.

Rikon is held in the fourth orbit of a solar system that has thirteen planets. The solar system has two suns, one notably larger then our sun and one smaller white dwarf that is usually only visible to Rikon but twice year. The planet in the orbit preceding Rikon is filled with luscious plant life, water and insanely large insects. Rikon gained life nearly a hundred thousand years after the third planet.

Many different forms of life, many more the Earth herself, inhabit Rikon. It has three moons, nine continents and seventy countries. Rikon is covered in 60% water and has three large oceans. Half of the planet is covered in clouds at one time. Rikon itself is an eighth again the size of Earth and has an atmosphere containing many of the same elements in many of the same proportions, although the air itself is threaded with magical energies. The air is notably cleaner with a lack of pollution and smog and the year is 400 days in length with ten months all of forty day intervals. Their day is the equivalent of twenty-two hours long. (their year is 8800 hours long, ours is 8766 hours long)

Rikon is at a 19.5 degree tilt, summer being two months long and winter is also two months long, both are not as severe as what is generally seen on Earth.
