What to say about Eggman? He's fat for one, and evil for two. What else? Okay, I'll tell you something else about Dr. Eggman, but I won't like it. He says he has an IQ of 300 and proclaims himself a genius. (Tails is a smarter person though, I say) He's very juvinille in the fact that he believes he has the perfect plan to kill Sonic and take over the world. I do have to admit that he does have a certain know how over robotics though.
Basically his status means he's got a psychic condition that makes him think he can rule the world, and he's a scientist.
Eggman likes to robotize people, that's what started the all-out war between Eggman and the Blue Blur, Sonic, Eggman robotizized Sonic's uncle, Chuck. When Sonic buddied up with Tails, the fight was now two to an army of robots. Over the years, Eggman has gained more enimies, but he can make up for that by creating as many robots as those that are destroyed, by turning, animals, flowers, and rings into robots (EVIL!).
Dr. Eggman has a hobby of tricking Knuckles into doing some of his dirty work against Sonic. Nearly every plan to take over the world the "good" docotr has includes the Chaos Emeralds or the Master Emerald. He does occanisionally gain help from things other than robots, such as Shadow and Rouge
After Shadow died Eggman seemed to be a nice guy, but who knows how long that will last.
